There is a now a collection of print news sources in the Bay Library.

Online access to newspapers

The Economist – Articles from The Economist can be found in the ProQuest Business Collection. The ProQuest Business Collection also contains articles from other news sources. Search using your keywords then refine by ‘Source Type’ on the right hand side of the results page.

FT.comSwansea University students can get online access to the FT. Go to www.ft.com and register using your Swansea University email address.

NexisUK is a database of international quality newspapers. It contains newspapers from the early 1990s to the present. Why use it?

  • You can cross-search several newspapers at once.
  • The databases provide full text articles.
  • You can search by journalist’s name, language, country or a single newspaper title.
